An animated picture of a North American railroad crossing gate (also used in Australia). The gate isn't animated, just the lights on top of it (I cannot, and don't plan to, do moving crossing gates, just flashing gates.)

The lights, which are 4" lights, or based on the 4" lights, are functioning the way they usually do in North America: the light at the tip of the gate being steady and the other two lights flash alternately, normally with the bigger signal lights on standard mast signals and cantilever signals.

This gate doesn't come with a crossbuck signal but it is typically used at cantilever crossings. It does come with a pole, a mechanism or motor, and gate-arm support with counterweight. And I made the stripes on it slanted. I do have a vertically striped version of this willm3luvtrains.deviantart.com… .

Plan to make more flashing crossing gates.
