had some time to color lately.lowe guele's astray red frame from gundam astray (and all the follow up manga after that)
the lineart is a couple years old... and looking at it again i can see that the "Gerbera Straight" katana is actually a little uhm... too straight. XD oh well.

I love the Red Frame, so this is win. And I think in the manga the sword kept changing what it looked like anyways

I have never heard of Gundam Astray. But it looks great. I have quite a few models myself.

have you seen gundam seed or seed destiny by any chance? this particular astray is kind of a variation of ORB's M1A astray model. there's also a blue astray and a gold

The page looks interesting and some of the Gundams sound familiar.
I got into Gundam Wing when it came on tv years back. That led to me researching Gundam and realizing it was bigger than I thought. Thus eventually leading to model building. But with the models being so expensive I gave it up. Plus unless there have been new developements you have to admit Gundam has kinda disappeared.

a big part of that was that because of toy dealers. they became so freakin' oversaturated with g gundam stuff that seed kinda became overshadowed and not even carried by most dealers... 00 ("double O" -the current series) is actually incredibly good. i hope it gets the attention it deserves in other markets besides japan. to me... it blows a lot of the previous series way out of the water... and it's even a little bit like wing.

Yeah I saw Gundam 00 on tv the other night. Comes on late so I have a hard time watching it and maintaining a sleep schedule.

i missed most of seed destiny and eventually downloaded the astray and stargazer stories. they're not to bad. i'm actually pretty fixed on gundam 00 now. XD i seek out any new mecha animes though.hehe.

I was gonna start downloading 00. I heard it was pretty good. I'm so behind the curve with Mecha anime's right now though, I've got a lot of catching up to do XD

thank ya!! the anime was a 2 part OVA that was part of the SEED universe. there was also a few manga that followed the astray side story. ^^
