Description
I did this quite a long time ago and since then haven't really manipulated. This just shows how rusty I can get when I don't manipulate constantly.
I'm not very happy with this, but it is definitely a piece that helped me express myself at one point or another, so I wanted to share it.

You may not like it but it's beautiful... don't worry so much about the "technical" details that you're not happy with... step back and look at it with new eyes... you might see that this conveys so much feeling and power that it doesn't need any more work... it doesn't matter if it's "good" or not, (because it's great).

This is really beautiful. I like the brown and the green color. Works together really well. Also the butterfly is well done, although the contrast is a bit wrong, but I guess this brings a really nice touch into the image, because the attention is drawn on the butterfly really well.
The image looks a bit like a tree out of a fairytale. Trees that speak to you. Really nice one.

Awwwww, Thank you. You are right about the contrast, but sadly, I only have the flattened version of this image, so I can't go back and replace the butterfly. But thank you for all your kind words. They mean a lot to me.
