Description A quick illustration I did for the Horizon Wings Winter 2013 newsletter. One way we can help raptors is to conserve their habitat, which ranges from deep woodland (broad-winged hawks, eastern screech owls), woods or forest edge (red-tailed hawks), and fields (American kestrel, barn owl). Each of the birds shown here are also birds we have at the raptor center.

Graphite on bristol, 9X12 inches.

Birds of prey are so beautiful and impressive. You did a very good job showing their different habitats - every habitat has its bird of prey, and they are all equaly important. Very strong illustration.
