Description
Campus is beautiful this time of dayA robin sings his song in the sunlight.
Notes floating on still-wet waking grass.
Nature sings in this urban paradise
The trees speak to the wind an unknown word.
Not noticing my silent presence.
The air, bright and clear in this waking day,
Is free from the death of everyday life.
Dew sparkles sweetly like hopeful eyes.
If photographs could tell you a story,
What tales this age-old campus has to tell.
And what would it tell you about me?

"Dew sparkles sweetly like hopeful eyes" is a nice line too. hmm, another word instead of "campus" in the second to last line would help though.

This piece has a lovely sense of quiet beauty with the anticipation of things to come. It has a wondeful feeling to it. Love the line "Notes floating on still-wet waking grass."
