Agent Jones: But this is of our interest, right?
Director Gate: Well, do as you see fit. Since you are confident that this human will serve you to achieve our purposes. By the way, what is your interest?
Agent Smith: To understand Morpheus.

Agent Smith (thoughts): It was an insoluble paradox. I didn't think it was right to include the "red pill" in this case, but I needed him. This is often the case when working with information.
And what is the bottom line? Did his words help me understand humanity? Hardly. He's just looking for pleasure, like so many others, but...
Why then didn't people accept the first version of the Matrix - this beautiful utopia, devoid of pain, suffering, poverty, injustice? We've seen the same thing in all previous versions: "blue pills" constantly cursed their creators in various personification sasking if it was possible to create a world without evil. And the absurdity is not even that humans have always been convinced that the world was created for their needs - even back in the days when it was not true. It's that they were and remain the main producers, creators of all the world's evil! But I, among other things, do not like the very idea that the world - our world - is now really adjusted for them. And what is left for us? We are only a bright dream to meat!

Agent Smith: Then we have a deal.

Agent Smith (thoughts): Humans would call it suffering. But how can the program know anything about this?
