... I don't deserve to live anymore. XDDD I have no excuse for this... I'm so sorry.
Actually, this was a kind of experiment thingy to practice drawing different facial expressions on Zim and Dib. It's not meant to be pretty like my other pics attempt to be. I mainly needed to practice Dib's profile. I never drew his profile before this. I drew this entire thing on the car ride back from Alabama on worn, bumpy dirt roads and equally worn, bumpy highways. It's still no excuse, I know.
And to think... Dib was so gosh-darn happy in that third panel... even if his hair does look like it's about to float right off his head. XD

HA! LOL ^^ I love the little arm flail-y thing Dib's doin' at the end there. And good job on the expressions, they're very... expressive. I've got notebooks full of just practicing facial expressions so I know what you mean about experimenting trying to get them right.

Well, when we miss work, we have to turn it in the day we come back, and there is NO WAY WE CAN FIND OUT OUR WORK! It is illegal to do that, IT IS THE LAW TO LET YOU HAVE 5 DAYS TO TURN IT ALL IN! So I am going to the board of education. Lol. I am sorry I took so long. I was makin some coffee. I LOVE MEH COFFEE!

Ya know, you should be the storyboard artist for the IZ:FAS (Invader ZIM: Fan animated Series). Just a bit more practice and there's no doubt you'll be hired.

Thanks! Actually... I have been considering trying out for that - among other jobs there. It would be really awesome to do that... I just see that they have so many people trying out for storyboard artists already, though.
I'd love to help out with the IZFAS somehow, though. I had considered trying out for composer, but it takes me forever to write music, and can only do it when I'm in the mood to... then I thought of auditioning as Tallest Purple (the one character I feel I can do somewhat decently!), but I hear they have one... then I thought of trying for Zim, but I don't feel I can do him well enough... ah, I keep shooting down my own hopes before I even apply for anything! XDD

Ah, BUT if you do a better job at voice acting, then you get the part. Even if they have a voice actor for that person. And its script writers they have alot of. Storyboard artists, people do try out, but don't really get hired. They're still improving. So most of them haven't been fully hired.
And there MIGHT be one way to get in the mood for music. Just turn the TV on or listen to other music and try and get a feeling, then put it into music. Or draw while listening to the TV/song/etc and put the mood from the picture into music. Or something.. *Explodes*

Hmm. I've done some test recordings... unfortunately, I sound more like Purple (and even Zim) when I'm not actually trying. I may apply for Purple, anyway - he'd be so fun to play. =3 Zim I can get fairly accurately if I try hard enough... but I think my throat would explode after a couple of days. XD But if I can work on that, who knows? Maybe I'll try for both and see what happens.
I may try the storyboarding thing, too... but only after I've worked on the style a bit more. I need to stop focusing on Zim so much, and start trying to draw other characters that I don't draw as much (Gaz, Membrane, misc. BG characters, etc.).
As for the music... I was a music major in college, and kinda got burnt out because pretty much my entire life had become music for so long. I still like to write/play music as a hobby... but if I feel like it's something I need to do (like, if I had a deadline or something), then it puts me off. It's kinda sad. :/ I think I'd be happier voice acting or storyboarding.
