Name: Dream (I hope non-japanese names are allowed... anyways, Mew's chinese name is meng huan which sounded a bit like dream illusion and hence the name)

Gender: Genderless, but takes the form of a young girl.

Age: Ancient

Ability: Synchronize

Attacks: Psychic, Transform, Aura Sphere, Synthesis

Personality: Dream is a mew, so... She is bubbly, cheerful, playful and of course, very very curious. Her curiosity makes her yearn for knowledge and information. She hates it when people fight and hurt each other. Despite her playful personality, she has a much more serious side. She will do all that she can to protect what she treasures and love.

History: She is very old, but no one knew her exact age. Most gijinkas just knew that she had existed ever since the land was young. There is only 3 goals in Dream's long life. The first goal being to have fun. Dream believes that fun and laughter is the greatest gift that life and nature have to offer. Dream has seen much and heard much, all of which she does so to satisfy her huge curiosity. Hence her second goal is to gather as much knowledge as she can and to understand the world as best as she is able to. Dream tries her best to understand the mechanics behind every single attack and tries to master them as long as she is able to do so. (Well, Mew is the only pokemon able to learn all TM, HM and Tutor Moves). The third goal is to maintain the harmony of the world. Dream cherishes life as she had seen life being created, but also being mercilessly destroyed in stifles and conflicts. Sometimes when she gets lonely in her quest for knowledge to quell her curiosity, Dream will appear in places where she like and live among people so that she can have fun playing and making friends. Usually, she would not stay at one place forever, when she thinks that the townspeople no longer need her or that some other place needs her more, she would disappear. She sometime disappears for centuries especially when some part of her quest for knowledge requires her to be alone. Dream likes to have friends and desires to have friends, but it often sadden her when they pass on, even though she knows that morality is a fact of life. Hence she often like to say, "The end of an encounter is the beginning of another,"

Misc:
Dream is quite dependable but she gets distracted very easily (well, curiosity kills the cat =.= ), it is one of her biggest weakness.

Dream can make large pink bubbles appear with her will. She love to play and bounce on these bubbles. (Yes, it is a reference to the mew in the first pokemon movie who was more awesome than the other mew who appeared in the Lucario Movie)

She has two outfits, she only wear the outfit on the left during formal occasions.

She keeps that 3 pink jewels with her at all times. It is rumored that she keeps the huge amount of information that she had harnessed over the years in these jewels.

She prefers to take on the appearance of a child because, past experiences tells her that children are more willing to play with her

She appears in Dark Forest because it looks like a fun place, especially for playing hide and seek =.=

I wanted to model this gijinka after the Mew who appeared in the first pokemon movie. That Mew was playful but noble and powerful... I love the Mew VS Mewtwo part. The best legendary fight ever...
