Description
They came marching, screaming over the nearby hills
But I did not care to see why

They chanted warnings and rang out the sirens
I ignored them and looked to the skies

Lights of every shade and color flashed and blinded me
I merely shut my eyes

Blue clouds boomed above and showered the world with black blood
I turned and went inside

Every pet and creature fled the noisy streets
Unlike them I never left town

Children cried and screamed ungodly things
I don’t see why they won’t calm down

A sea of fiends stormed through my house
Causing chaos deep inside

A blade went through my heart back and chest
I should have been warned I was going to die
