Related to Priest Class , Warrior Class , and Last Son ...

I've been holding onto this preset since Gia 7 came out. It's the first I made using her as a base, but as good as Gia's texture itself is, it didn't feel right for the character I had in mind - a half-human huntress/wilderness warrior/ranger-type. Ceridwen by Saiyaness does feel right and it suits the character as well as her inhuman mother (which I need to do a good render of) and possibly her mother's people, too. I'd still need a good texture for the males, though. Their kind are all supposed to be somewhat serpentine, reptilian.

Her name in my notes, following the same reference pattern as the others, is Black Hand, the Serpent's Daughter. Yes, I remember now that there's an orc warchief in the Warcraft games named "Blackhand," but these are just notes subject to change and if you look it up there are a lot of other instances where the name or title has been used. So anyway... She's the halfbreed child of Serpent Woman and either Older Brother or Younger Brother. Since Serpent Woman was sleeping with both of them on a regular basis (which Blood Moon was doing, too) there's no telling which one is the father. Something about being pregnant temporarily cleared the madness afflicting Serpent Woman. Worried that her insanity would return, she never told either of the two brothers about her pregnancy, went into hiding during it's course. Being lucid at the time, Serpent Woman worried that her child would suffer from the same madness that had all but wiped out her kind and since Younger Brother, a human, was clearly insane, too, his insanity infecting an entire city of people through their religious zeal, she felt that the child's chances were doubled, almost assured if Younger Brother had any influence in raising her. She gave the infant girl to a reclusive society of shaman and mystics to raise apart from her and from the bloodthirsty society Younger Brother ruled. Coincidentally the current head of that shamanic society was Older Sister, sibling of Older Brother and Younger Brother. Serpent Woman returned to her place in the city and, as she'd feared, her madness returned...

Three years later Younger Brother, in a rare moment of jealousy, murdered Older Brother and tried to make it look like an accident or punishment from the gods. Their immortal demigoddess lover, Blood Moon, figured it out and finally snapped. She overthrew the priesthood, killed Younger Brother in front of the masses, and denounced his horrific practices. The warrior caste, suffering from the loss of Older Brother, never interfered. They stood silently by and watched. Blood Moon then turned on Serpent Woman, torturing her for days inside the city's great temple, demanding answers. Pain gave the inhuman creature some clarity again and she answered Blood Moon's questions truthfully. But by the time Blood Moon learned everything she wanted to know - and far more than she wanted to know - her rage was spent and she was so horrified by her own actions with Serpent Woman that she wished she could take it all back, heal her, and instead find a way to cure Serpent Woman's insanity. But Serpent Woman didn't want to be saved or cured; she had seen and done too many awful things. Madness was the only way she'd ever been able to live with herself. So Blood Moon granted Serpent Woman's final request and mercifully ended her life...

When Blood Moon exited the temple Older Sister was waiting for her. Older Sister had overheard enough and took a chance. She told Blood Moon about the halfbreed child and asked for the demigod's assistance in raising her. Blood Moon agreed...
