There hardly wasn't a wound left.
They'd finally gotten to the tree, or at least closer to it. Saoirse had insisted on stopping at an inn to clean up Nicki's wounds and dress them, but they had already mostly healed over.
Saoirse kept staring at them in disbelief, rubbing the jagged tooth marks with a wet cloth.
What exactly was this place.

She finished cleaning up the.... almost scars at this point... and started wrapping Nicky up. She wasn't gonna lose face. She could feel that the other found the whole ordeal kinda ridiculous, but the blue bastard had saved Saoirse's life, and this was the only way she knew how to repay her debt.... at least for now.
