Not sure if you realized it, but fame generally comes with being unique, talented, especially good looking, or very intelligent. It comes from being different. So yes, grumpy cat is famous because he's cute. He's also famous because his owners took the time and effort to make something out of his unique look. But mostly because he's cute and different.
That's what fame IS.

And going by the rest of the gallery, she HAS earned her fame by being a dedicated, active, hard-working member of the cosplaying community.
If this is someone cheated fame to you... I'd say you might want to re-evaluate your view on fame. Most 'famous' people nowadays get there simply because the right person 'discovered' them. But on the internet, in niche communities like cosplaying, or artisan work... you have to EARN it.
Yes, it helps that she's cute. But her hard work and very clear talent have earned her her fame. She is unique in her looks, but also in her abilities. Not every cosplayer out there can throw together a great-looking cosplay with minimal tools and materials.

Then you clearly don't form very good opinions. An opinion is something that you state basing yourself on facts. And it's something you should be able to change when confronted with new information.
You've pretty much just defended yourself the same way a child would, and then refused to change your opinion because "I'm right and that's final". You could have opened your eyes to the rest of the person's gallery, or taken into consideration the specific techniques used for this costume. But no. You're right and you will always be right because it's YOUR opinion.
Not a single one of your arguments gave any real reason for you to not like this person's art. You didn't even give a proper critique. You just called Grumpy Cat out for being famous because he's cute, and then called the image lame and pathetic. No reason. You just think so.
This is an ART site. You can't just drop an insult on a piece of art and not expect people to want you to elaborate or defend your statement.
A person's opinion isn't right just because they think it is. People used to think that slavery was a right given to white men by god... And that was their opinion. Was it right? Hell no.
When Susan Boyle walked up on stage the judges automatically formed an opinion of 'she sucks'. Were they right? Hell no. And she proved them wrong. (At least they had the sense to change their opinion after the fact). Religious nuts push their opinions about gay marriage on the world, saying that that 'god hates gays'. Are they wrong? Hell yes - the bible says NOTHING about hating gays, or not allowing them to marry.
So having an opinion doesn't make you right. It just means you believe something very specific. And not always based on fact. Being someone who is unable to change their opinions when shown new information makes you closed-minded. And that groups you up with pretty much every horrible person in history.
Lastly, you're not exactly minding your own business when posting a public comment on a piece of art. You're stating your opinion and leaving it open to be accepted or denied, or even argued against in an attempt to change it. So by telling me to mind my own business, you're pretty much just telling me that you're a hypocrite.

I'm not a troll. If I was a troll I would have said bad things about looks or intelligence which is not whats being demonstrated in deviantart. I'm looking at the art aspects of the picture and in my opinion it's lame. It's a critique. A harsh critique but a critique nonetheless.
