Description
Trying out a different shading style which is inspired by the game Vanguard Princess. Love the sprites in there.Wasn't planning on making this a base. Wanted to make a sprite/pixel art that wouldn't be considered a doll, but, heh, oh well.
Lately is seems like I can't make a pixel character without making a base of some sort first.
Rules:
-Give me credit if you use this base
-No Frakendolling; www.urbandictionary.com/defineβ¦
-Non-Commercial usage only; You can use my bases for fake currency money like on Gaia Online, Menewsha, dolling forums, ect. (you may NOT use my bases for points commissions or point adoptables)

Hey I have a question. Whenever I try to draw on this and a lot of other bases, the color doesn't come out, and it's just the darkest color on the base (like if I were to use green, it would come out tan) Can you explain why that is or help me out with that problem?

This image is a .GIF so the file is distorted.
1. Save it to your computer.
2. Open it in the program of choice.
3. Don't make an changes to the file in the program but instead save it again to the computer but as a .PNG this time.
You shouldn't have any problems after that. This has happened to me MANY times.

If you're working in Photoshop, go to Image -> Mode -> RGB Color.
I'm thinking most bases have indexed color, so you'd need to change the color profile first before you edit.

There are a bunch of tutorials online that will show you how to pixel and make pixel dolls. I have a how to make a base tutorial in my gallery too.

When you take one part of a doll and put it onto another...say an arm or a leg.
