A large winged shape shot overhead, followed by a mighty whoosh of air that buffeted the Sylaine and the short grass she stood on. She looked up in alarm, how did she not see or hear it coming? The plateau sky was wide open, anything coming could have been seen literally miles away.

Nonetheless, the thing that flew by overhead was now descending rapidly, pitching side to side. Sylaine spun around and ran after it. She could see a thick blue tail and large white wings extended from the side. It was wobbling even more now, and less than three meters from the ground. Whatever the flying creature was, it certainly was unsteady, thought Sylaine.

It suddenly flared its wings, and in that brief moment, Sylaine saw that the tips seemed shorter than they were should be.
The braking didn't seem to work though, as the creature flipped to the side, did a full turn turn upside down, hit the ground and bounced for another fifty meters before sliding to a stop. Sylaine puffed harder and ran up to it. The dazed looking creature was a she dragon. Blue and silver of fur, with a thick black mane. It was on it's head, with the wings spread awkwardly to her side and feet dangling in the air.
Sylaine nudged her to a righted position.

"Well, I hope you didn't break anything in that fall there!" Sylaine tsked, amused.
The smaller blue dragon shook her head, the thick mane hanging low over one eye. She took rapid, excited breaths.

Is there anyone following me? she half thought, half said nervously.
Sylaine looked around. "Not a soul in the sky," she confirmed.
At this the smaller dragon calmed down a took a deep breathe. When she spoke again it was almost unrecognizable from the nervous panting dragon a few second before.
It's nice to meet you! Thank you for helping me up., um
"Sylaine," offered Sylaine. "Now, what is your name?"
The black-maned dragon seemed to take notice of the surroundings for the first time. She gazed upwards at the sky, taking special notice to the drifting white clouds.

You can call me.. Wispy.

Internet has robbed me of my language skills. XD please excuse the typos. .
I've been fiddling with this since mid-November, but only recently really started to work on it. I know there are a lot of what are really uneeded details (like two wings XD they are basically the same.. so there really was no need. But I like wings in pairs.)
haha, that "mini" story here probably made little sense. XD I'm planning on developing it more in my other story. (which I have barely stared)
Basically, her brown marks will sometimes change colour depending on the light she absorbs. Sun is brown/gold, moonlight silver, no light no marks etc.

c: If you find it hard to see, tell me.
Finally a full complete ref for Wispy.
I don't want to right anymore right now, the long story wore out my writing abillity.
