[Thimblins] Semi-Open Species Info

Please note you MUST credit me [Witchin ] for the Species in any art that involves Thimblins! This includes adoptables, of course!

*:ﾟ✧LORE:ﾟ✧ .・

Thimblins are all-fabric dragons carefully crafted by a Witch or Wizard to help all types of artists continue to make the world a more beautiful place!

They gather little goodies and materials in their thimbles to help with arts and crafts projects, along with physically working alongside humans, from toddlers to elderly, to make the best work they possible can.

*:ﾟ✧What Exactly Does Semi-Open Mean?:ﾟ✧ .・
Semi-Open means that you CAN make your own design using any colors, patterns, personality, backstory, etc. you'd like! The only things you cannot do is use Shop Materials without paying the Shopkeeper first [because that's stealing!].

We call the sea of free material our Scrap Bin section-- there's nothing wrong with this material, but there sure is plenty of it to go around-- making it free for all who'd like a Thimblin : )

You are allowed to have multiple paid traits in addition to any of the free traits listed on the species sheet. You can find the specifics below~

DESIGN MATERIALS / PARTS

*:ﾟ✧~Main Body~:ﾟ✧ .・

All Thimblins are about a foot in length and all have almost the same body type/structure. They can be as thin or as thick as you'd like, as long as it retains a recognizable resemblance to the species. Some have really long torsos, some have short torsos. Some have super long tails in comparison to the rest of their body! They can also have teeth or no teeth, up to the witch/wizard!

*:ﾟ✧~Tail, Leg and Neck Snippets / "Frills"~:ﾟ✧ .・
The frills are made up of snippets of scrap string, yarn, ribbon and lace and can be a combo of one or all. The size of the frills can always vary, as long as there are at least a few bundles on both the head/neck, the end of the tail, and on one of the sets of legs. The head frills can be styled into hair, but must always loop back into the head. They are a necessary design element that makes the species what they are.

*:ﾟ✧~Tail~:ﾟ✧ .・
As mentioned above, the bundled yarn, ribbon, lace, and string at the end of a Thimbiln's tail is essential --- though, the snippets may be replaced by a handy dandy scissors which you can purchase at the Material Shop!

*:ﾟ✧~Patches and Stitching~:ﾟ✧ .・
The patches also help to make this species unique, as they can be any fabric imaginable. This is very different from the main material [cotton, leather, satin, etc.] --- patches can be any of these materials as the paid traits pertain to the entire body / main fabric. At least one unique patch is required for each Thimblin!

*:ﾟ✧~Feets!!!:ﾟ✧ .・
Who doesn't love little dragon feets? Their legs are always made up of a dark-colored velvet fabric. It doesn't always have to be black, but it must be very close if tinted a color like navy or maroon.

*:ﾟ✧~Mobility:ﾟ✧ .・
These cuties run via magic, of course! What do you expect~? Though they are stuffed, their true blood is magic, which most of the time you cannot see. Usually the only way you can is if they happen to cry!
This means they can float and fly-- [if they do have wings they are for aesthetic purposes only]. That being said, their front and back legs function just fine as they can walk on all 4 or sit up on the back 2 ~
