Well, while I feel fairly comfortable creating clouds, seas are another matter entirely. In the end I trashed several days worth of experimentation, and just left the ocean dark enough to hide my inability to paint believable water.Pencil > Pen > Photoshop CS3> Illustrator CS3

Two of my favorite things combined in one sheer being of awesomeness! SO FAVED! I really like how you still made him look organic and natural. All the parts flow together. The lighthouse is a nice touch.

Rising from the sea, ready to claim it's earthly dominance. Oh, good one, Sir! Brilliant work on the robot design, with the "tentacles" and the demon wings! His coloration is wonderful, I'm really enjoying your approach to coloring your own robot designs, choosing a wonderful "satin" look as opposed to any "high-polished" or reflective method. Hey, the water is perfect, actually, and adds to the foreboding feeling. Bravo, my friend!
