Description
A great example of the western talent New Zealand has to offer. This display was part of a cutting exhibition at the 2010 Fielddays. The rider explained that no reins were used during a cutting performance except when he separated the steer from the herd. He used the blue twine to steer his horse and separate the animal, then simply let the horse do all the work.
I had no idea how the cutting event worked (having only ridden English) and it was a very interesting display
