Rift (looks at him blankly): yeah, why? It's not really a secret

Sleet: I never see you use it though, why is that?

Rift (pauses briefly) I don't really feel a need to to be honest, usually with beginner magic it's only small perks for everyday life... it's helpful, but I don't really see the need to use magic all the time. It's neat and all, but I like doing things for myself

Sleet (frowns) Sis, you know magic for goodness sake, a lot of older wyngro here don't even know magic, even Alma said the town only recently took an interest in it after Ms Netty came...you could at least try to utilize your skill at least

Rift: Bro, I like magic okay- I'm glad I learnt wind but- being a magic expert, isn't who I'am. Just because you know magic doesn't mean I take it seriously-

Sleet (annoyed) But you should! being able to yield magic is a huge deal- there are so many types you can combine, to know you won't use it to your full potential feels...underwhelming

Rift (raises eyebrow) I'm underwhelming now am I? glad to know you feel that way about me.

Sleet ( eyes widen, realizing what he said and opens his mouth to speak, only for nothing to come out despite his mouth moving to form words)

Rift (magic glands glow as Sleet realizes whats happening)

Rift (laughs, patting his back, magic glands glow fading) Relax Sleet, I could never stay mad at you- but c'mon, if you wanted my help learning magic you could've just asked me to buy some books for you-

Sleet (embarrassed) Gah, I deserved that...I acted like a spoiled wyngling back there, I just-

Rift (smiling) Sleet you only just get up a week ago, it's natural you'd be still getting adjusted, besides, if any wyngro is childish, theres no adult in this household thats as childish as me (grins)

Sleet: Well thats true, you just muted me with your magic after all-

Rift: Ouch, there goes some of my credibility as a responsible, mature and fair guardian for you bub, but that doesn't matter because I'm also my sister, and thats another job in of itself, what matters now is getting rid of some of this heat~

Ever since I saw a picture of Rift snapping her claws way back, I always imagined her doing it everytime she uses magic from now on x3
