Description with reluctance, i forced myself into illustrator. i hadn't even begun to feel comfortable with the prog and then the creative influences started seeping in, filling my mind with objects, colors, lighting, detail, flow, pattern, complexity, simplicity, conceptual, abstract... i was so drained when i finished it... it was such a good thing i liked it cause otherwise it wouldn't have been worth the effort/deemed unfit to showcase and dumped into the recycle bin with every single attempt at an illustator piece before it. this took 18 hours to finish over a period of 3 days. thanks for the encouragement...



èdí† : i have resized the deviation because i realize that the average desktop size is at 1024x768 and i didn't want to discourage the average viewer from the appeal of the detail in this deviation, as i maintain a resolution of 1600x1200, the original deviation was and still is the better view and for the love of detail one simply cannot afford to miss out, so ive moved it to scraps which can be seen hè®è!™

Now this, i might have to say, is one of your best. The contrasting colours and shapes makes a wonderful post modern feel. The ranges of bright colours, is just amazingly quite beautiful, modern and expressive. Nice job, I do believe this will be added to my favourites.

It's an impressive work, even more as it is the first attempt. would look great as a big print in my room

thank you for that wonderful comment Cami! i worked on this off and on over a few days... i'd say maybe around 18 hours. granted... it is my first piece, i hope to become more familiar with the Illustrator program and maybe it wont take so long next time! XD

If you go to the page of every person who comments on this today, you'll be busy for the next month. 18 hours actually was a lot less than I expected; I was thinking nearer 40.
