If a tear falls and no one seesDoes it fall from you or from me?
Am I you when I close my eyes
Or is it just a clever disguise?
Who are we when we are one?
Who are we when all's said and done?
Who are we when we're alone?
Who are we when we're unknown?
If a tear falls and no one sees
Does that release make you feel free?
What's the world like with shuttered eyes?
Is it beautiful, this clever disguise?
Who are you when you are one?

Do you think it could help me believe?
Or should I just cover my eyes
And give in to this clever disguise?
