Great effect of intimacy drawn from the tender light on her skin with those fleck floating around them, and the muted tones of the blue hues that the scene is couched in.

It is. Zoom in and you can see it's torso.
If you read the comic you should also know that there's a city or country (I can't really remember) where they use glowing butterflies as lights, this is one of these butterflies
