But as much as I like looking at these galleries of pretty girls, it would be nice if boys and/or men were also painted like this, in their own idealistic context, once in a while. Whatever happened to masculine beauty? I think you miss out, otherwise, with an aspect of humanity that can be admired, adored, and be inspired by.
I believe there are certain emotional themes that the male form can convey more strongly (particularly in sculpture), but I acknowledged that that's my own personal idea...
