Description
Here she finally is; Kodi's mate and Jack's mother, Meri.

Meri is a husky and golden retriever mix, who was abandoned by her owners and lived as a stray ever since. She developed a grudge against humans and decided to never trust anyone again, until one night, when a blizzard hit the town and Meri was looking for food and a place to spend the night. Eventually, she curled up behind the mail office, and was found by Kodi, who took her to the boiler room and brought her a warm blanket and some food. Meri was extremely confused as to why this stranger was helping her, but was too tired, so she fell sound asleep, and Kodi stayed with her that night to make sure she was alright. From that on, Meri found that she couldn't stay away from Kodi, and always looked for excuses to see him, also she absolutely loved to tease him for his "obsession" for his work. Eventually the two started developing a friendship, and Meri showed Kodi that life wasn't all about working, and taught him to have fun for a change. Finally their friendship turned into love, they became mates and had 4 pups. Meri was taken in by Kodi's owner, and eventually, she slowly started to trust humans again.

As a parent, she is a lot more laid back and chill than her partner: she is playful and adventurous, but she does also have a serious side to her, and she can get a little overprotective towards her children, since she knows how dangerous life in the streets and out in the big world can be.
