So, Phantom (the Mephiles from the Corrupted timeline) created this timeline through blocking the chaos emeralds from affecting Sonic in 06, which caused him to remain dead. Shadow and Silver were still able to use them, but their power wasn't enough to take down the Solaris twins for good. Silver also suffered from this, gaining a surge of internal power that nearly killed him, as he accidentally absorbed Sonic's departing spirit, both saving and dooming the late speedster, who twisted into something similar to his dark form due to the beam of void light Mephiles used to kill him. Sonic lived within Silver in secret, outwardly merging their personalities, internally arguing about whether they should tell the others Sonic wasn't completely dead (Sonic saying not to), all while Silver led the rebellion and kept his powers in check using specialized bio tech Tails made for him. No one found out about what really happened until Shadow found Crys and brought her to the underground city a decade and a half later.

As for the twins, Iblis broke off from Mephiles with a mobian form as their split was uneven, and they escaped, raising Crys (and unknowingly her ghost twin) in the last remaining forest, and driving most Mobians and humans underground with fire, darkness, and destruction.

Also Eggman got arrested, and Shadow became the commander of G.U.N due to Towers appointing him and stepping down. Time did not reset here.
