OPERATION GALACTIC STORM part 3:So Captain America flew all the way to Arizona to meet with Rick Jones about weird dreams Rick had about the Kree Empire falling, only for them to get attacked by a robotic alien. After fending off the attack and saving Rick from being kidnapped by the alien, Cap gets stranded without transportation or his Avengers communicator card….and Rick ends up being kidnapped by the alien’s partners anyway. So basically more of the usual “Avengers being bad at their job” thing.
Whisked away into orbit on an alien space craft, Rick is confronted by members of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard. Powerful alien warriors in service of the Shi’ar Empire, all with unique abilities. Attempting the interrogate Rick, he realizes they are trying to find out information concerning his old partner, Mar-Vell, the original Captain Marvel, originally of the Kree Empire.
Rick refuses to talk, but of the three Imperial Guardsmen on the ship, perhaps the most powerful is Oracle, a powerful telepath. Oracle is able to easy read Rick’s mind to find the info she needs: the location of the hidden Kree base on Earth where Rick first met Mar-Vell. Ooooh, mysterious!
