Welcome back to another Villains Week here at Vector Vengers! Something something evil, something something bad joke!
The guy in the funny hat is Ronan the Accuser. He is an alien from the Kree race and a high level warrior in the Accuser Corps, which are sort of like if you threw a cop, a soldier, a lawyer, a judge, and an executioner into a blender and poured out one emotionally unstable, power-hungry and angry law enforcer. So kinda just like you might find on Earth.
Anyway, whether by directive from the Kree Supreme Intelligence or on his own (he's goes a little rogue sometimes), Ronan basically goes from planet to planet in service of his beloved Kree Empire and, like, accuses people of stuff. Usually bad stuff. Loudly. Often without much cause.
So, kinda like if the internet came from space and had a big space hammer.
He has been a pain in the butt to just about everyone in the Marvel Universe, including the Avengers.
He's sort of played at being kind if a good guy once or twice, but it never sticks. It's just more fun to be a jerk, I guess.
