Before the storm, Wisp's life was fairly simple. He knew of no other to play with or talk to, other than his Mother. The two lived in a cabin in the forest, but they also happened to live near the ocean, and for them this was a regular place to visit. When his mother wasn't out gathering resources, they'd head down near there to play. Sometimes, they'd sit near the water, and his mother would began to sing with a cloudy, sorrowful look in her eyes. At first, it confused Wisp, but the more it happened the more he just choosed to enjoy it.

He didn't know much of life away from the cabin, away from the ocean, it seemed something his Mother would always avoid in conversation. But he wasn't resentful. After all, this was all he knew. It was a nice life, one he never thought would change.
