[Master Kai Ven-Lor was renowned throughout the galaxy for his wisdom and prowess in the Force. A survivor of the Great Jedi Purge, he spent years in hiding, studying ancient Jedi texts and honing his skills. When the time came, he emerged from seclusion to rebuild the Jedi Order.
His Padawan, Taran Rel, was a youngling who escaped the same dark event that scattered the Jedi across the stars. Taran was strong in the Force but impulsive, often acting on emotion rather than reflection. Kai saw great potential in Taran and took him under his wing, teaching him the ways of the Force and the virtues of patience and discipline.
