Thank you! People really need to understand that not all self harm leaves physical scars... Hell, self harm doesn't even have to be physical in the first place.

Sure. I mean, people put themselves down all the time. And when you're depressed, it just happens more severely. You talk yourself further down in to the depression- a little closer to suicide, a little further from recovery. Plus, if you tell yourself sonething long enough, you start to believe it.

Tights are a lifesaver! You can wear a short skirt with tights with a pattern (H&M, American Apparel, and Simons all have lots) and you can't see cuts at all

i reported my friend because i really didn't like to see him like this, and he said it was a mistake it was supposed to be in a private folder/ show a girl about the dangers of cutting.. Help?

Such a beautiful and amazing photo. Such a simple presentation, yet this holds so much meaning. We are so used to seeing illness as something that is obvious, and noticeable. However with the instance of mental health and self mutilation, this is not the case. This picture admirably shows how easy it can be to "hide" our problems and why it is so important that all of us take action against these issues.

My best friend commitied suicide and I blamed myself for it for years. This meant that I began self harming just like she had. I almost tipped over the edge but I didn't suceed in commiting suicide. I still self harm even now and whatever people say. Please can you help me because I know that I need to stop but I can't do it by myself... Thankyou
