Finally! Another Futurama fart. This is seriously my favorite show ever.Anyway, this is Professor Farnsworth riding Pazuzu. He's kind of an obscure character, but his two appearances were hilarious.
Can anyone guess the 80s reference in this one?

OH. The show is really character based with a lot of inside jokes. You should probably watch it from the beginning if you're going to... and I REALLY recommend that you do.

Oh sure, Neverending Story is the OBVIOUS reference.... but it has a touch of Batman and a hint of E.T.

I think I love you, man! Okay, so maybe that's an exaggeration; I've never even met you. But it's safe to say I'm completely in love with your artwork. I thought you'd reached the pinnacle of awesome, but I must confess, I never saw this coming. Pazuzuuuu!
And yes, eighties nerd that I am, I instantly drew the parallel with the Neverending Story. Although I think I find Pazuzu LESS creepy than Falkor.

You know... Falkor actually used to scare the *pants off of me* when I was a kid. Actually, that whole movie gave me the willies. G'mork (the wolf thing) honestly gave me nightmares.

Oh, good heavens yes. Gmork was genuinely frightening, especially to a kid. And to be honest, Falkor STILL kind of scares me. He's just... I don't know. "Pervy" is the only word that springs to mind.
You'd never know it from watching the movie, but the actual BOOK "The Neverending Story" is very good.

Futurama?!!! Yeah hands down it's way better...here is the sad news though...last i heard they were bringing it back but it might be without the original voice cast! I hope they can work things out....it just wouldn't be the same without the original cast!
