Anyway, guess who finally relented and got CSP! I've been putting it off for... Forever... Because I was worried about using a new interface, and I was already so streamlined with my process in Autodesk Sketchbook, and it costs money, and yadda yadda I wish I'd gotten it sooner lmao. This baby is SO streamlined for comics and I regret all the years I've spent manually aligning my own text and transforming the same rounded text bubble brush over and over.

Actually using the program to draw is a bit of a different struggle, so to put myself in a new mindset for a new program, I decided to try drawing a bit outside of my usual style. More specifically, I decided to draw using old ways I used to draw that I kinda shed over the years (smaller eyes, actual feet, more precise anatomy, lots and lots and lots of fluff, etc.) to revisit some old techniques. And wanted to help with the process and was willing to be the guinea pig for it after seeing some of my other doodles! And as it turned out, the results were interesting! It's something I may fiddle around with for fun in the future. Though I don't have plans to change the comic's style to this at all, I went with the simpler shapes for a reason lmao. Still, it was a fun experiment! I hope to get my sea legs with the program soon, I'm excited for all of its time-saving features that I haven't even touched yet.
