Description

Wall.es pets chased the light, and she chased her pets all the way to the epicenter of the local earthquakes, and the light finally stopped there as well. Upon reaching the center of a massive stream of hot air blasting down from something, the dragons and the Slugcats alike looked up and then scattered in all directions, with Spearmaster and Rivulet going to far as to dig themselves into the ground, clearly scared out of their wits by what they'd seen. Wall.e got there shortly after they did, wondering what about that light was so enticing to her pets and what they were so frightened of. She stopped next to the light, looked straight up, and- OH SHIT! Three gigantic columns of superheated plasma were streaming down from the sky above, all supporting a metal Goliath that Wall.e could swear would make a Bewilderbeast look puny by comparison. She tried to run, but almost ran into the first column, screeching into an erratic direction change as a spray of rocks was suddenly kicked up by the exhaust of what was now clearly a massive thruster descending towards her, the Spearmaster, and the Rivulet. Wall.e ran even faster, and again found herself screaming in horror and running away from a superheated column of plasma, erratically changing direction again, now blinking in an attempt to get out from under the massive rocket. No such luck- she ended up near the widening columns of plasma, and in a blind panic, dug herself into the ground. Her four arms and sturdy claws made quick work of the ground beneath her, which was just as well, for the plasma was now streaming directly on top of her, and the temperature seemed to spike by thousands of degrees. The Slugcats were likely father down than she was, having had more time to dig. Wall.e frenetically threw some large rocks up towards the sky, hoping that they would get stuck in the hole above her. They did, and Wall.e curled up into a ball, whimpering, as the ground around her shook, the temperature clambered still higher, and the noise became almost deafening. Suddenly, the noise and the shaking stopped, and the temperature began to rapidly drop again.

Wall.e shoved the rocks aside and poked her head out of the hole, coming face to face with the underside of the ginormous thruster, which apparently doubled as a landing leg. Wall.e then cautiously pulled herself under the hole, and poked her head out from under the side of the thruster. A door hundreds of feet above her head opened with a silence shattering hiss, and a series of robotic arms and waldos dropped out of the underside, carrying a large capsule down to the surface. Wall.e was intrigued by this process, and found herself stepping close to it, peering out from behind the side of the booster as the capsule was dropped on the ground- accidentally landing upside down as the waldos fumbled the drop. Wall.e giggled a little bit, nervously wondering what was inside the capsule, and if it had survived the rough landing. The landing arms suddenly slammed into the ground, causing Wall.e and now both slugcats to jump, and the capsule to be sent flying. It bounced right side up, and landed upside down again. Wall.e watched in a mix of awe and horror as the arms blindly flailed around, trying to locate the capsule. When they felt it out, the arms roughly dragged the upside down capsule back towards the main landing arm, which flipped it right side up again. The arms then reset the capsule on the ground and another robotic arm- this one tipped with a needle- rotated out towards the capsule and punched a series of codes into a previously invisible interface on the capsule. Wall.e stepped closer to the main landing arm, hiding just behind a booster mere feet away from the whole contraption. She ducked back behind the booster in fright as the capsule burst open.

When Wall.e peered back out into the dusty plains in front of her, what she saw took her breath away. Standing right in front of her was the most beautiful cyborg synth she had ever seen. Her armor- a dazzling white affair- glistened with a sheen of some sort of clear slime. Her fur- cyan and black in color- was similarly lustrous. Her eyes were the most radiant shade of cyan that Wall.e had ever seen. Wall.e found herself fantasizing about what this newcomer looked like under her armor, the dates they could go on... the possibilities felt endless. Wall.e barely noticed the Rivulet and the Spearmaster standing beside her, talking about something. She then noticed the designation of the cyborg synth- AX 001. AX 001 barely noticed Wall.e, seemingly dismissing her as just another part of the scenery. She turned and began to walk away from Wall.e at a brisk pace, methodically scanning the ground in front of her for... something. What that was, Wall.e had absolutely no clue.
