After reading James Gurney's 'Color & Light', I improved my art immensely without a lot of effort! Changing colors to a limited palette instead of a blown-out all-color saturated palette, I learned that the brain *suggests* more richer colors when using limited colors. A must-read and must-learn for every artist!

I ran a dozen of my works through a tool to figure out the colors, and ran many, many famous artists' work through it - getting surprised by the limited colors of even the most rich works of art! You can also run some screenshots from games through it, and learn how each screen is built - very, very helpful!
