Description
By winds across ice is my name carriedFoul to many, yet some chant it gladly
To bring blessings I gave their ancestry
On the highest fells they kneel, pray and plead
'Til I say: "Give me the old and wearied"
Lambs for the slaughter with no eulogy
The winter of their lives ends fittingly
Sacrificed, as are you one day, take heed
When autumn fades, all nature will tremble
From ponds, fords, flowers, to the mighty yew
This you'll know when you feel my hoary breath
I scourge and rule from my glacial temple
And now as you pass, I coldly bid you
I am the Maiden of silent white death
