Description I must share the sights I peered at that lake
On the jagged shoreline dwelled squamous toads
Under the waves, abhorred carven abodes
No one should see for their sanity's sake
Or guess at the rites these fish-men partake
Or what great ill the red sky at night bodes
How the mire hungers, and the coast erodes
And on full moon, ancient things come awake

Seen from a nearby cliff, some have whispered
The lake resembles a giant eel's maw
And once, worshipers by the lake will kneel
And start to chant so the Dweller is stirred
There is no use for man's morals, or law
When the Slitherer devours the Sun's wheel
