Back in 2011, I designed a Goblin Rogue character called Sparkfuse ( www.deviantart.com/wosukoart/a…). Inspired by a mentor to blend the genres of High Fantasy and futuristic Sci-fi, she's part of a story I hope to tell one day.
I decided to do this project both as a comparison of where my skills are now vs back then, and as a tribute to that old piece but with her new design/personal art style. Also, since my previous piece, I've been more focused on composition and full illustration rather than just making characters in a negative, empty space. This piece was a delight to work with!
