Description
Inspired by the upcoming game by Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed and my love for medieval history.A Syrian Assassin in on the run and he dispatches a crusader knights along the way. In back alleys of a middle east town. Done entirely in Photoshop CS.

the only thing I can think of thats wrong with this is the Hashashin didn't use projectiles like bows etc... and he's holding a bow in his opposite hand. everything else is amazing

Remarkable! I love it.
Perhaps a problem with the composition is that it might not be ballanced. What I mean is that the three main figures are centered almost perfectly, yet on the right there is that big dark shadow, with little in the way of equivalent shade on the left side.
meh... could be my imagination. Love it though.

Ah I might also add, just on a little side note that templars would probably wear a coif which included a layer of chainmail around the neck which partially covered the chin. I wonder if an assassin would go for the neck like this.
But either way, I love this drawing ^_^ You're awesome!

Amazing. I like how you named them Hashashin. For the arabic root. They got that name by eating Hasheesh and attacking caravans shortly afterwards. But I'm sure you knew that. This is a supurb job by the way.

I was trying to calm down since Assassin's Creed is right around the bend and I still don't have money (but it'll probably be sold-out if you haven't pre-paid anyway) but now I have no choice but to freak out. You got me all psyched now and now I can't sleep. Thanks...dammit.

Love the picture and I'm really excited about the game, although i wounder if they are gonna stay true to history or go all "Hollywood" on us, it would be really cool if they included the different sects of Islam, and included some of the events of the past; like the subtle Assassin takeover of Damascus and the resulting uprising of the population against them!!!! Excitement!

I highly doubt it'll follow closely to history mgsblade. The hero of the game itself, Altier (sp?) is highly fictional in both his looks and character. On top of that I heard that most if not all your assassination targets are Christian crusaders rather then Sunni Muslims like it was in real history.
Nevertheless I'm still excited to what this game has installed for us. I'm just crossing my fingers that theres no "Matrix" like plot twist bullshit at the end of the game.
