I've realized something, something seemingly obvious but nevertheless profound. The single most important thing in life lies not in the self. Nor does it lie in the group. The most important thing in life is to find another.

Someone who genuinly cares about you. Someone that loves you for who you are. Someone who's sad when you dont call. Someone to catch you when you fall. Someone who's there to pick up the pieces that never seemed to fit in the first place. An ear to lend so a heart can mend, a shining light, a beacon of hope, a savior, a reason to be.

Sometimes you have found this person and they are quickly put on the back burner. They are packed up, labeled as a friend or maybe even best friend, and then stored away until a tourniquet is needed. Sometimes they're already your boyfriend/girlfriend, neighbor, a needle, or an idea.It doesn't matter.

Whoever it is when you find that person grab them. Hold them and never let go. Doctors can heal cuts and bruises but only they can heal your soul
