I liked this too much to scrap it, so I flat coloured it and wah lah. I recall saying that I was going to draw these two eventually.
Karasu is super creepy-cool. I wonder what it'll take to have a puppet just like him in real life. Kankuro & Karasu from Naruto, are Β© Masashi Kishimoto.

I think the sketchy feel adds to this work nicely, especially on Karasu. It gives it that unrefined, wild feel that completes the great creepiness. And Kankuroβs tranquil, nonchalant almost-smile is such a striking contrast! They really do make a cool team, and the simplicity emphasizes that, rather than allowing elaborate detail to distract from the characters (does Karasu count as a character?) themselves. Nice job!
