It can't be metal. Your idea or possibly carved of some sort of stone would work. Also maybe it could be like the Tribalman's Shiv kukri in Team Fortress 2, which is made of a wood that has a chemical that prevents blood clots, meaning they don't stop bleeding.

by the way I'm try really hard not to ruin your wren at home comic so my next comic droid is going start rearing the tardis the having a meeting with his boss. droid then his leaves his "room" the tardis to refill (on soda) were he is attack by Kaya. you break up the battle and tell droid to get a job to pay the rent.
