Description
This was created using the open source programs Blender and Indigo. It is my 'current' desktop.

To make one, I used four water inflow sources and a pool of water below and rendered using the fluid dynamics in Blender. Full documentation on fluid dynamics is in the book "Essential Blender".
The lighting is a sun as well as a glowing sheet coming up through the water.
The render took 32 hours in Indigo, but it was done after 12. There is little documentation on how to use Indigo.
