Description
You'd never keep a dying man,From the breath of life.
Or stay away from dry land,
If you were a drowning man.
As she cried in her sleep,
Would you not kiss away her tears
As your daughter began to weep
Because of a cut that's a little too deep?
Then, why, I ask you today,
Why in the world
Would you think to say
Inside I must stay?
Why, when inspiration is all around
Inspiration in the sky, the woods.
The things that have yet to be found.
Don't try and keep my imagination down.
Try and keep these waves at bay.
These that roll, and frolic.
These are words, constantly at play.
All through the night, though not every day.
Don't keep away this addiction.
Why must you think so bad of this?
Why is stopping, to you, even a question?
