With all this time to myself, [as my two best friends are both out of town and unable to reach internet access], I've begun thinking. And I've been thinking a lot about my hats.

Now, you guys don't know this, but I adore hats. I wear hats pretty much every day. I like trucker hats, I like baseball caps, and I like beanies.

If it were up to me, I'd have a different hat for every day of the year. But as my mother hates hats. Or at least, hates me wearing hats. So, I'm not allowed to have many. Only the ones I'm given by third parties. Or that I buy with my own money. [Which I don't have much of.] so, I currently have four beanie hats that are wearable.
1.] A thermal white hat.
2.] A black hat that's reversible. On one side it has a button that says, "I <3 boys" and on the other, "I <3 girls" [I don't think I need to tell you guys which side I wear it on.]
3.] A hat I got from my sister that is grey and has Corona written on the front in blue.
4.] A hat that I got when I was about nine that is blue and yellow striped.

Now, the black "I <3 Girls" hat I bought my self for Christmas. My mom wasn't there when I bought it. My dad was, though. It was either the one I have now or a trucker hat that says, "Mom, I'm GAY." on it. I tried to be a tad bit more subtle. Well, when my mom first saw me wearing it, she hated it. Loads. She forbid me to wear it out side of the house. I couldn't wear it to school, church, or even to Chick-fil-a. [Ha. My top three places to be, besides home.]

Well, against my mothers wishes, I wear my black hat to school a lot. I almost never wear the blue and yellow one. The white thermal goes to school as much as the black one, but it also goes to church with me. The Corona hat is worn around the house, and when we go shopping or on other such endeavors.

Now with all this time on my hands, and all these hats surrounding me, it makes me think. I don't exactly change who I am from location to location. I just wear it differently. It's still me under everything. I still don't ever match. I'm still obsessed with Harry Potter and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I still listen to too many different types of music. I'm still opinionated. I still love to write.

But pending where I am, I act different. I take things said differently. I'm still you, mind. I'm still overly critical. I'm still too emotional on certain issues. At home, I'm overly sarcastic. At school, I'm overly spastic. At church, I'm overly chill. Like, super chill. [The chill where one of my youth leaders asked if I was high because I was so chilled out.]

I just have one question: Which hat is me? I guess I need to work on merging my hats a little better.
