She ranAs hard as she could
Faster and faster
But her legs felt like lead
Heavy.
She saw a boy
Coming towards her
Urging her to go faster.
So she tried
But to soon she saw him pass her.
She saw a girl
Coming to her, helping her on.
Then that girl tripped her.
She fell.
Her knees and hands
Scraped and bloody.
Rocks in her cuts, she stood herself up
And walked.
Took her time and finished.
On her time,
She found the finish line.
