Description
Adrian, a one time best seller of Horror novels, lived on a island away from everyone. He always sent his finished manuscripts through e-mail to his publisher, due to not being connected by normal postal mail.

Adrian had a unique way of writing his horror, he would get inside the head of a psychopath, sometimes too far inside.

Adrian looked around at his empty house, no books on the bookcase. More importantly there was no one around for miles to distract him. Adrian walked from his Office on the first floor down to the ground floor and as he made his way down the stairs, he heard a banging at the door.

"Will you stop that infernal banging" Adrian shouted at the figure by the door

The banging stopped. Adrian rushed down the stairs quietly as he has done for twenty years. When he arrived at the door the he noticed the figure was a young attractive woman she looked at him and gave him a hug.

Her clothes was covered in human blood and her fingernails were missing but Adrian looked at her and asked "What's your name and can i help you into new, clean, dry, clothes?"

she didn't reply.

Adrian took off her coat and found the blood was coming from her and not from some sort of accident. He knew he couldn't phone for help, so he pulled her inside carefully and placed her on the dining room table.

Adrian ran to get some bandages from his bathroom. when he came back he saw no body, no blood and the door to the house was locked.

but it couldn't have been a dream, he thought to himself... it just couldn't of been.
