Sometimes my dreams have dolphins in the sky,
And snakes and turtles and butterflies,
Sometimes I dream I've lived whole other lives
And I'm exhausted when the morn arrives.
Strange symbols crowd my sleeping brain;
Ancient shapes and purple rain;
Visions manifest but I remain;
Trapped on a dreaming runaway train.
