A rifle from an art piece I am working on, a Single shot bolt action, the Berdan Rifle served in the Russian Imperial army during the 1870's as a replacement for earlier conversion Rifles, and would in turn be replaced by the Mosin 3 Line Rifle, It would be produced up into the 30's.
