SkunkyArt | WTFBOOOMSH — Team Hellsing vs Team Devil Hunters |DEATH BATTLE!

Both are trios who are part of military-style factions, dedicated to fighting supernatural satanic beings that threaten the peace (Devils & Vampires) while also having some of those beings fight for them.

Both groups have the anti-heroic main protagonists (Denji & Alucard) who were once human until they became the creatures they signed up to fight against (Denji became a Devil Hybrid & Alucard became a vampire) and have shown very deranged and sadistic sides when they embrace these parts of themselves but beneath their arrogant personas lie emotionally damaged men who are deeply sad for certain things they don’t have (Denji is desperate to be loved by someone & Alucard is envious of the mortality of humanity which is something he threw away).

There are also the close female partners of the main protagonists (Power & Seras Victoria) who have contrasting personalities (Power is childish, greedy and almost entirely self-motivated while Seras is more mature and devoted to her morals and integrity) and are also of similar species to the main protagonists (Power is also a Devil and later became a Fiend & Seras became a vampire thanks to Alucard) and are also seen as the “children” of their groups.

There are the third guys who act as the most mature out of the trios (Aki Hayakawa & Walter C. Dornez) and the main protagonists had contrasting relationships with them (Denji and Aki started out distrustful of each other but later became closer as friends while Alucard and Walter started out as close friends but later became enemies).

Finally, there are the suit-wearing manipulative female bosses of the groups (Integra & Makima) whose relationships with the main protagonists can be described as master and slave except Denji initially didn’t think this was how Makima saw their relationship as while Alucard was always completely aware that this was the kind of relationship he had with Integra.
