Connections:
- Both are the titular protagonist of popular sci-fi fantasy fiction that have a large influence in certain science fiction genres (Sci-Fi Fantasy and Containment Fiction respectively), who usually dealing with the threats through the 'pacifism/non-violence' depending on how you describe pacifism/non-violence methods (The Doctor taking a non-violence options when usually dealing with their enemies and the Foundation contained the anomalies rather than destroying them) but also often crossed morality lines (like a bunch) and sometimes have to choose violence when see it as necessary (The Doctor sometime choosing a violence options to dealing with their enemies and the Foundation sometime destroying anomalies and often crossed the 'human/morality' line to dealing with SCPs).
- Both held the most largest and unanswered secret in their respective universe (The Doctor's real name and the real identity of SCP-001) alongside with their real origin which have multiple versions and each version often contradicted each other.
- Both have a somewhat cooperative relationship to the UN military-oriented organization that dealing with the extraordinary threats (UNIT/GOC - the Doctor being a Scientific Advisor to UNIT/The Foundation and GOC often helping each other when it came to dealing with anomalies) even if they do disagree with the military methods of said organization.
- Both deal with animated hostile statues that moves when no one see it or someone blinked (Weeping Angel and SCP-173), and entities with an ability to make people 'forget' about the entity (Silence and SCP-055).
- Both are the owner of the iconic complex 'place' (TARDIS and Site-19) which are the primary setting that is often use throughout their respective series.
- Both realized and know about the facts that their universe are the works of fiction (The Doctor sometime talking to the audience and the Foundation realising that their universe are fictional in SCP-001 (S Andrew Swann's Proposal)).
- Both of their respective series are 'shut down' at some point (Doctor Who cancelled during 1989 and SCP EditThis shutting down) but got revived in the new forms (Doctor Who being revived as 'series' instead of mini-episodes serial during 2005 and SCP Foundation being revived in Wikidot instead of coming back to 4chan or EditThis).
- Both of their respective series have a 'no canon'/multiple continuity.
- Doctor Who and SCP Foundation have a crossover in 'Time And Relative Dimensions In Containment Protocols' tale.
