I hold aloft my dreams and desiresAbove my head I proclaim my life
All falls to darkness as my shouts echo through the iron clouds
Light supports my claim as I lay myself bare to the heavens
All falls as my soul pours into the sky, filling the void, rending the fabric
My dreams and my desires
My hopes and my failures
Intertwine in darkness to form my life
And perhaps
To carry into the next
And to form into the tapestry that we call existence
And for all to go quiet, as we examine that single weaving
That grows into hundreds of weavings
Moving and changing, affecting where it goes
But the thread cuts short
It ceases to grow
The thread was cut
For as I threw my soul to the void
